1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Make It Polite ("the App"), operated by Fabiyaso LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Make It Polite is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to help users transform their messages into different tones and styles, including text-to-speech, translation, and sharing features.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address
• You must be at least 13 years old
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Subscription Plans

* Pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by region.

Payments & Refunds

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
• Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next month

Credit Reset Policy

• Upgrade: Credits are immediately set to your new tier's maximum
• Downgrade: Credits are immediately set to your new tier's maximum
• Monthly Reset: On your billing date, credits reset to your tier's maximum
• No Rollover: Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle

5. Acceptable Use

You may NOT use the App to:

• Generate harmful, threatening, or harassing content
• Create content promoting violence or discrimination
• Produce illegal content
• Spam or abuse the service
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
• Reverse engineer the App
• Attempt prompt injection or AI manipulation

Rate Limiting

To ensure fair usage and protect our service:

• Each subscription tier has request limits per minute
• Exceeding limits will temporarily block requests
• Repeated abuse may result in account suspension

Content Filtering

Our system automatically filters:

• Potentially harmful or abusive content
• Attempts to manipulate AI behavior
• Content violating our policies

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, cloud storage, and analytics
• Google Gemini AI: Text processing and generation
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing
• Google Text-to-Speech: Voice synthesis
• OpenAI Text-to-Speech: Premium voice synthesis (Pro tiers)
• Google Fonts: Typography, licensed under the SIL Open Font License

10. Intellectual Property

Our Property

• The App, including all code, designs, features, and content, is the property of Fabiyaso LLC
• "Make It Polite" name and logo are trademarks of Fabiyaso LLC
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our intellectual property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you create using the App
• You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for providing the service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you submit

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for third-party services or content

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fabiyaso LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you create or share using the App

14. Termination

By You

• Delete your account anytime in Settings
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Abuse of our services
• Fraudulent activity
• Extended inactivity

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
